Mat 22:37 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus answered him, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and most important commandment. 39 The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ 40 All of Moses’ Teachings and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.”
John 13:34-35 So I give you a new command: Love each other deeply and fully. Remember the ways that I have loved you, and demonstrate your love for others in those same ways. 35 Everyone will know you as My followers if you demonstrate your love to others.

City Of God Universal Church
All who know and are known by Jesus
Named after the city that is in heaven, City of God is a church that is a part of the universal church (all christian churches of every denomination around the world) and gathers in Holy Spirit led celebrations of God that include worship and fellowship. The church we belong to cannot be given its purpose or authority by any government except for the Kingdom of God. Just as the government cannot give a human his or her purpose or give the authority to a human to be human.
Mathew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
The Church (all who know Jesus and are known by Jesus) is not an unincorporated entity but a living body that exists solely to Glorify
God and follow our mandate to love God and love others. Jesus Christ was born, crucified, raised from the dead, and ascended into
heaven. Jesus is fully man and fully God. Jesus has freed us, purified us, and reconciled us to the Father and given us the Holy Spirit.
Jesus will return and reign in a New Jerusalem. We all have a part to play! God dwells with us and we will know the fullness of this.
We are children of God and kingdom builders. The kingdom is all around
us… that means we are charged with being light , bringing freedom and life, abolishing oppression and injustice, glorifying God, and co-creating with God everywhere that we go. We are asking for the kingdom of God to come to earth with not just our mouths but with our actions.
